INTRODUCTION
The Evening Gazette has been successfully organising business awards across the Colchester district for 8 years. The aim of the awards are to project the Colchester district as a progressive area with developing companies across a wide variety of business sectors and to encourage new companies to relocate into the area. We believe that the awards are fundamental in developing a healthy, prosperous and sustained local economy.
The awards offer great networking opportunities and relationship building as well as encouraging investment into the area. The awards also boost staff morale, company image and customer confidence.
Who are the awards open to?
The business awards are open to small, medium and large companies who have the dedication for hard work and commitment which makes their companies a success. The number of employees in the small, medium and large sections will differ from category to category.
Anyone can make a nomination regardless of whether they are an owner, employee or satisfied customer.

June 2007, closing date for entries Friday 28th September 2007.
Awards, black tie, presentation dinner dance, Friday 23rd November 2007 at Charter Hall, Colchester.
Meet The Organisers:
The Colchester Business Awards are now entering their eigth successful year in the quest to recognise business excellence in the district. The awards will be organised by the Evening Gazette's Business Awards Team who over the last 11 years have organised 44 business awards across the county, guaranteeing that this year's event will be another huge success.
